BRUCE A. MILLER IS A SOLE PRACTITIONER IN THE NEW ORLEANS

suburb of Metairie practicing in the areas of taxation and estate planning. He was an estate tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service for six years. Mr. Miller represents clients before the Internal revenue Service and has litigated tax matters before both the United States Tax Court as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bruce is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, being both a member of the Section on Taxation as well as having served as an assistant bar examiner. He is certified in taxation by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization and maintains an active and heavy tax preparation practice, preparing approximately 150 individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and estate tax returns annually. He also serves as a Special Master for the courts in the New Orleans area and is a frequent lecturer on taxation and related topics. Bruce is rated A/V by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Superlawyers in Louisiana.

Mr. Miller received his J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law and his B.A. from Southeastern Louisiana University. In his spare time, Mr. Miller plays percussion in the New Orleans Concert Band as well as with various other musical groups. He also serves on several community philanthropic boards. He is an avid tennis player but no longer has aspirations of competing at the U.S. Open! Married to Dr. Jane Cagan Miller, Mr. Miller has two grown sons, Hal and Andrew.
